Now days, Bangladesh is considered one of the top cricket teams in the world and definitely after the 2015 World Cup in Australia, they started dominating world cricket. In that World Cup, the Tigers knocked out England and reached quarter final. And then won series third in a row against Pakistan, India and South-Africa. The tigers also played semi-final of Champions Trophy in England. So, it can be said that Bangladesh National Cricket team is doing very well in recent times.
There is no shortage of talented players in Bangladesh. The main problem of Bangladesh Cricket team is their lack of consistent performance and mindset. Even though they won some big matches, they could not remain consistent. For this reason, the team could not reach the top position. Experience was also another issue for the team members. Finally, Bangladesh cricket team is ready. There are some outstanding players who have been playing for 10-12 year and performing regularly. So, the experience of playing international cricket for quite a few years coupled with some existing new talents, our national cricket team has become a new brand of Bangladesh.
In this post, I shall give brief description of notable players who have been playing for the last 10-12 years and have great contribution to the success of Bangladesh National Cricket team.
- Shakib Al Hasan:
He is one of the top players of the modern day cricket. The former top all rounder in ICC ranking in all three format. He is the prime brand ambassador of Bangladesh cricket team. Playing in different leagues for different team all over the world, Shakib gained huge fame globally. He was also captain of Bangladesh team in all three format from 2009 to 2011. In 2014, he was again appointed as vice-captain of oneday and T20 side. After Mashrafee’s retirement from T20 side in April 2017, he has now taken the responsibility of T20 side for Bangladesh.

- Mashrafe Bin Mortaza:
An inspirational leader with the spirit of fighting every second against any opponent. He has seen a lots of ups and downs through out of his career. After making his debut in 2000. He is the only player who didn’t play a single first class match and played national team. He was considered the fastest bowler in Bangladesh in this period but injury become a major problem in his career. As a result, he could not continue in the national team for a while. But he did not give up and after recovering from Danger zone he returned to the national side and became one of the major factor of success of national cricket team for last 2 or 3 years with his inspirational leadership.

Roll : Bowling all –rounder and Bangladesh cricket team ODI captain.

- Mushfiqur Rahim:
He is another vital cricketer of the national cricket team. He is a great wicket-keeper and middle order batsman. He is also the Captain of the National Cricket Team. Musfiqur had became the first player who have made double century in Test cricket.

He is currently the batsman in the National Cricket Team and one of the best openers in the world. He is the highest run scorer for Bangladesh in all three format of the game and also the first Bangladeshi to score 10000 runs individually.

The big match player, Mahmudullah Riyad scored back to back century in World cup and another match wining in Champions Trophy against New Zealand. Now he is a well-established T20 All Rounder and played in different T20 league in different country.
